Surely fairy tales don’t happen in real life?
After being jilted at the altar, high-flying journalist Sam doesn’t believe in love any more – and she certainly doesn’t believe in fairy tales! So, when she’s asked to cover the Royal Wedding, it’s the last thing she wants to do.
And when she crashes into a ridiculously handsome stranger, Anders, things go from bad to worse. But as the big day draws closer, Sam finds herself being swept up in the excitement – as well as swept off her feet by Anders!
But there’s something that Anders is hiding from her – and when he finally reveals his secret, might Sam just have the happy-ever-after she never thought she wanted…?
Welcome to my stop on the blog tour for ‘How (Not) to Date a Prince’ by Zoe May. Thank you as ever to to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for the opportunity to take part.
I have actually had this book on my kindle for a while so I’m really happy that I finally got to read it for the blog tour. I have all of Zoe’s books on my kindle so I can’t wait to read the rest of her creations as I absolutely adored ‘How (Not) to Date a Prince’
At the beginning of the story, Holly’s attitude towards romance is dead, but can this be turned around? Her friend Colette and Becky try to show her that romance can be amazing. She is forced to work on a story for the royal family – she is normally a politics journalist! Holly then meets the gorgeous Anders. There are so many twists and turns to her life I found myself being amused, sad and happy all at the same time!
I was captivated by the story and found myself wanting to dive into this book at any given opportunity. Zoe’s narrative is so easy to follow so you can concentrate on imagining the scenes that unfold. I had an image of every character of this story in my head and felt this could actually become a movie! 🙂
‘How (Not) to Date a Prince’ is about love, friendship and taking a leap into the unknown ❤ I read this story so quickly but yet I didn’t want it to end and I feel there could be a sequel as I want to know what is in store next for Holly! I give ‘How (Not) to Date a Prince’ 5*/5*!!
Thank you to Zoe for writing such a beautiful profound story which leaves you feeling all warm inside! 🙂
Where to buy “How (Not) to Date a Prince”
Zoe May lives in Oxford and writes romantic comedies. Zoe has dreamt of being a novelist since she was a teenager. She spent her twenties living in London, where she worked in journalism and copywriting before writing her debut novel, Perfect Match. Perfect Match was one of Apple’s top-selling books of 2018. It was also shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Joan Hessayon Award, with judges describing it as ‘a laugh out loud look at love and self-discovery – fresh and very funny’.
